Refund Policy
Effective 24 May 2026 · Version v1.2
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all paid subscriptions to the Usantis EU representative service. The Service is offered exclusively to businesses (B2B); a statutory right of withdrawal under § 312g BGB does not apply.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
You may cancel your subscription within 14 days of the first paid invoice and receive a full refund of that invoice, without giving reasons. Cancellation via the Customer Dashboard or by email to [email protected].
2. Annual plan — pro-rata refund
If you cancel an annual subscription before the end of the prepaid period, you receive a pro-rata refund of the unused months, calculated from the next full calendar month following the cancellation request. Already-completed months are not refundable.
3. SLA credits
If we fail to meet our service-level commitments (availability ≥ 99.9% per calendar month, measured externally) in a calendar month, you may, on written request within 30 days of month-end, claim a service credit equal to that month’s subscription fee. A maximum of one SLA credit per quarter.
4. Non-refundable items
- Already-rendered EU representative activities — deemed delivered.
- Periods following a 60-day suspension that results in termination for cause attributable to the Customer.
- Mid-period plan downgrades — the higher tier remains active until the end of the paid period.
- Setup, KYC or third-party fees already invoiced by sub-processors (e.g. Sumsub).
5. How refunds are paid
Refunds are returned via Stripe to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
6. Disputes
Disputes must be raised at [email protected] within 30 days of the invoice or decision date.

Language / Sprachregel: This document exists in English and German. In line with § 20 of the Terms of Service, the German version prevails for Customers domiciled in the German-speaking area; the English version prevails for all other Customers. Translations into other languages are for convenience only.
