Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 14 June 2026 · Version v1.0

This Acceptable Use Policy (the AUP) governs use of the Usantis service (the Service) and forms an integral part of the Terms of Service. It applies to the Customer and to anyone the Customer permits to access the Service. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. General principle

The Customer may use the Service only for lawful business purposes, in accordance with the Terms, this AUP, and all applicable laws.

2. Prohibited uses

The Customer must not, and must not allow any third party to:

  • process personal data through the Service unlawfully or without a valid legal basis;
  • route through the Service any data whose processing would infringe the GDPR or other applicable data-protection law;
  • upload or transmit content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties;
  • store or transmit malware, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its infrastructure;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, to other customers’ data, or to related systems;
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including any denial-of-service activity;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent mandatory law permits;
  • resell, sublicense, or otherwise make the Service available to third parties except as expressly permitted in the Terms;
  • provide false, misleading, or incomplete information during onboarding or identity verification;
  • use the Service where the Customer or any beneficial owner is subject to sanctions or located in a sanctioned jurisdiction;
  • use the Service to facilitate any illegal activity.

3. Responsibility for data

The Customer remains solely responsible for the lawfulness of the personal data and other content it routes through the Service, and for ensuring it is entitled to have that data processed on its behalf.

4. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe the Customer has breached this AUP, we may suspend, limit, or terminate access in accordance with the Terms (Sections 2.3 and 4.3). Where practicable and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure. We may act immediately and without prior notice where necessary to prevent harm, protect the Service or third parties, or comply with law.

5. Reporting

Suspected violations or abuse can be reported to [email protected].

6. Changes

We may update this AUP in accordance with Section 16 of the Terms.
